Good day all,
After some weeks of printings (and a long fine tuning) I started to suddenly experience an under-extrusion problem that became more and more evident.
At first I thought it was clogging but after a clean up of the nozzle I found he was not clogged at all.
Then while inspecting if the Stepper engine had some issues I noticed that the hobbed cog that should grip the filament was slipping, not on the filament but on the stepper shaft!
The stepper rightly rotates in the given directions but the cog on it sometimes stops and doesn’t grip on the shaft. That’s very strange and never happened before, someone experienced the same issue? How could I solve it? I was wondering if I should glue down the cog to the shaft
