I am working to document and posting projects from the last few years. This Steampunk Multi-Voltage Battery Jar was part of a 2014 project for Make Magazine.

With the writeup for this project, i’m experiment with using the embeded ‘order a 3d print’ 3d Hubs buttons on my website and Thingiverse pages. The Button worked well with Squarespace, but the best I could manage on Thingiverse was a simple link. There is probably a way to make the button work in Markdown, but i’ll look into that more in the future. For now I’m curious to see if it will get any clicks at all.

You can read more about the project and how it was made at KansasCityKitCompany.com

Love it, but then again I’m biased since I love anything steampunk

Nice use of the 3D print button too! You have a fantastic collection of prints by the way, thanks for sharing this one with the community here.

As for Thingiverse, you should try adding the Get This Printed button instead, which you can see here. Fill in your email address at the bottom at this page, to be on the waiting list.

Hope this helps
