A lot of people who are not familiar with additive manufacturing are under expectations that can effect a hub negatively. There are many things that factor into a print and can effect the speed of production of a customers request: Size, Failed Prints, Hardware failure, & Expectations vs. Reality on printing time. Even though my hub has a reasonable turnaround time, and I get the parts to them early - theres always a downrate somewhere along the mix to the hub on the Speed of the print. I hope this scoring category can be reconsidered for reconstruction in the future.

I’d also like to add “Level of detail of requested print” (Low Rez, Med Rez, High Rez) to said list of effecting factors. Thanks for the consideration.
Certainly, this needs to be improved. I have to list my printer twice to show low and medium printing settings, and I don’t think it’s very clear for the customer either!

Hey Cotterpin, good feedback. We’re working on the way we score Hubs to take into account more data. These suggestions are useful, although some are easier to implement than others. In order to better predict delivery times it could be an option to take printing time into account as well.
Thanks for sharing, stay tuned for updates in March.
