I have been having an issue with creating rafts using Simplify3D on my FFCP. Every time I enable the raft it creates a very thick solid base that ends up fusing itself to my print. I have tried messing with the raft settings but cannot find the perfect settings yet.

Has anyone found the right values/setup to print items on a raft? I am looking for something similar to what the test prints that came with the printer used.

Pretty much how it goes. Avoid rafts is the answer. Try to address adhesion issues directly. Rafts can be good in certain situations such as prints with very little contact points.

Have you tried making your brim hold down your part by offsetting it very close to the print? It has worked for me in certain circumstances.
