Got some strange problems with leveling/extruder position on my CTC (Flashforge clone)…see picture…what’s going wrong here, and what do I have to do?

Go in the advanced settings and set the "start printing at " value to 0,00mm. Next up you should definitely make sure, that Simplify3D has the correct pre-settings. Simplify3D can be automatically adjusted for every printer, this means that it knows, which printer has it’s endstops at which position and what buildvolume that printer has. Search through the menu bar in the top and one of those buttons should lead you to a second window in which you can select your printer. I hope this helps! Cheers, Marius Breuer

Under help tab, click on configure, the latest rev if sd3 has the ctc. That’s should solve your problem.

Flip the Y axes…in your settings thats all  this Setting you find in GCODE

you can flip the Y-axis under Gcode, but if you go into configuration assistant, it will set it up for the ctc, so why have the possibility of another issue.

This is how it should look when you have put the CTC settings in configuration assistant. It will show it all. Hope this helped

Hey Guys, Thanks a lot for your help! I really had to reset to the right printer in the configuration settings. Had done this once and it worked so far. Don’t know what I’ve done to have changed this, but now everything is fine again.

So again: Thanks for your help guys!

Hi, can Simplify3d be used with 7.4 stock CTC fimware or does it need sailfish?

If so, can anyone post the .frm configuration profile?
