Does anyone have experience using Simplify3D (or any other slicer for that matter) to generate the .x3g files for a MakerBot Replicator 2? I’m asking because I’m a new Makerbot user and the MakerBot desktop software seems to have a glitch that causes the interior hollow walls to be printed undersized (better description here: https://www.3dhubs.com/talk/thread/makerbot-replictator-2-prints-inside-dimensions-undersized ) I’m wondering if Simplify3D has the same issues, and I don’t want to spend the money just to find out.

I don’t really think this is a “glitch”. This is common and is generally shrinkage. When I make an item with a hole in it I usually have to size it slightly larger if something is going to be inserted such as a bolt so it will fit. There are different reasons why the “interior” would be undersized. The other post explains some of this.
There is plenty of discussion on the web about this.

Simplify3d suffers from the same issue.
