I just started working in a company that offers 3d printing service using metal (I’m not marketing, I promise). I am pretty fascinated by how metal printing works and wanted to learn about how other 3d printing enthusiasts feel about it.
The final models that came out of the print are quite dull and porous but, after some finishing touches, it really starts to look fantastic. How many of you have 3d printed using metal so far? Please share your experiences.

I think it would be a very cool idea! Metal printing would open up the possibilities of 3-D printing and allow users to build higher quality ideas. I don’t have any experience printing with metal, but I’m also interested to see what’s up and coming with this idea.

It’s not so complex as it looks, there are a lot of supplier with PLA metal with nearly the same print setting then pla

Exactly, metal printing is currently more famous on industry level than on user. General Motors used 3d metal printing to manufacture a fuel nozzle for their get engines that is being used in Boeing’s aircraft. 3D printing reduced the production cost of that nozzle to fractions as there were more than 25 individual parts in that nozzle before, but now, it is just getting printed into 1 single part. Thus, reducing the cost of transportation and manufacturing.
I gave this example just to show how that will change the way we prototype projects at home.
