I need information on the best material available to make a secure case. It must be physically able to withstand heavy impacts and be Flame retardent. I also need to know which machines and companies are capable of creating this in a fairly large size think suitcase or slightly bigger.

Steel works well. When you say flame retardant are you saying fire safe or up to a certain standard? We just finished a few cases out of lexan (polycarbonate), urathane, tin, aluminum and steel which meet those criteria. None of them are 3d printed except the prototypes.

This is a one off at the moment. it has to be fire safe not to any standard, but this may be required later.

We are looking to design something impressive to show to a customer.

Did you want it made of plastic? We can print an assembly or we have some 16-32/1000" tin and 63/1000 inch aluminum sitting here. I could get you a metal prototype in a few days depending on size.

PETG is Fireproof but I’m not sure to what level

I’m sure that you can buy it in sheet form, which I would use.

If I needed to build case the size of a suitcase or bigger rather than 3D Print one, maybe print a prototype but full size use sheets.
