Where is a good place to go and get an object scanned? Would something the size of a Phantom of the Opera type mask be too big to scan? Can these scans be altered? I have so many questions…

You can scan anything from something as small as a screw on a cell phone to car engines and more. Some scanners can scan to sub-micron level accuracy. Some scanners cost as less as $500 and high end scanners typically cost in $25,000-$100,000 range. You can contact 3D Printing service bureaus who offer high end 3D scanning services.

I have a basic desktop scanner. If you don’t need a very high resolution scan, I can help with that.

I can scan objects at an 0.1mm accuracy, but probably a bit too far away
