The model I am working on is an experiment and I am not sure how scales work in relation to the design file. I used autocad 2017 to design the model in inches. When I uploaded the model I see the model dimension as 4.3x1.7x0.7cm with the design model in inches. The actual size of the model is +/- 21.5x3.5 inches. Does this mean that the models total length to be only about 1.5 inches converted from cm? Would like any input you have to share. Thanks

Hey WBTrujilo,
The conversion from cm to inches is as follows
1cm= 2.5 (roughly)
so 4.3 cm is about 1.72 inch.
If you want to convert this to the correct scale convert 21.5 inch into cm which is 53.75cm. Then work out the scale change so 53.75/ 4.3. This gives 12.5, so you need to scale it up to a factor of 12.5 and it will be the correct scale. After changing the scale double check the measurements to ensure you’ve scaled correctly.
Hope this helps and goof luck.
Thanks, but do I scale the model in autocad before sending to hub or is there another way?

Yes. You could scale it in Autocad, but if you struggle just send it how it is and explain to the hub that you require it to be a certain size. Give them the dimensions and see what they say. Hopefully this has answer your question, but please do ask if you have any questions.
