Hi,

Is the adjustable HBP temperature meant to be available in v7.7?

I’ve got the adjustable hotend temp while printing, but not the HBP…

Or is this a new feature of v7.8?

Apart from this everything else works as it should.

More info. Printer, slicer etc.

Hi,

Sorry didn’t realize that was actually needed… Its a Replicator clone running slic3r.

Yes and still need the model. There are many clones and there are differences.

In the set up of Slic3r there will be an area to tell it there is a heated bed. I think it is on the printer settings tab near where you set the first layer temp and other layer temp for the filament.

Also you will need to set up the start and end gcode scripts for the printer in Slic3r. The start script will be where the pre-heat of the bed and extruder will be controlled based on what is set in Slic3r.

This is all contingent on that the printer actually has a heated bed. Many don’t.

Hi,

Ah right, yes it has a HBP… Slic3r works fine and is set for a heated bed… If I didn’t have a HBP then obviously I wouldn’t have the option to adjust the HBP.while printing…

Its the firmware that I’m asking about whether or not Sailfish v7.7 should have the adjustable HBP option while printing (on the fly) like it does the hotend… as at the moment it doesn’t but wasn’t sure if should have the option.

Adjust the extruder temperature while printing… was added back in v7.3

Section 3.4.5 and 3.4.6 show the change hotend and HBP while printing… but the HBP isn’t showing on mine…

Its a CTC Bizer…
