Hello,

I have a CTC printer with dual extruder. I have installed sailfish 7.7 and it mostly seems fine. I am using slicer and when I print and it finishes normally everything seems OK. But when I cancel a print, the head starts to clear the build place and either crashed into the left side or the plate is being pulled down and motors keep grinding. This seems wrong but I am at a loss as to how to stop this. Any suggestions welcome.

Apart from this it is a great printer.

Thanks

Neil

OK, after more research I have found that this only happens when the left extruder is used as the main extruder.

Using the right extruder seems fine.

Hope this helps someone

What model of printer do you have?

On your printer do a Eeprom reset in the utilities. Choice the 3rd choice Erase Eeprom. It will say it may make your printer inoperable but I had the same problem with mine when updating and it solved that issue. It retains your last firmware settings that you need to cleared.

Yes that worked! Thank you, I thought an EEPROM reset would leave me with no settings.

I have a CTC dual extruder. Replicator 1 or FlashForge clone.
