On the ROBO 3d printer there are 4 linear ball bearings that ride along the vertical support rods. One of mine is bad. They seem to be pressed into place, so does anyone know a good way to get them out?

If your having trouble removing them and you don’t have access to a press / workshop … find a small threaded rod (like the 5mm ones prusa i3’s used to use as there z axis) and with a washer that is the width of the linear bearing and a couple nuts you should be able to “pull” it out.

well, I got them out and replaced them, but I am still having issues with the printer. The reason I was replacing the bearings is because the printer was not trimming correctly. The two z axis switches were not triggering at the same time. When the nozzle was probing on the left side it will only trigger the left switch, on the right it will only trigger the right switch. This is confusing the printer and causing it to not print on the bed correctly. Still after replacing the bearings is issue presists. I don’t even know what to do at this point. I have adjusted the placement on the lead screw nuts about a billion times, leveled the whole assembly perfectly, and tried it at different angles off of level.

At this point I would like to just fix the problem with some TNT.

Hi did you get your problem fixed?
