I keep having an issue where a print will start but a couple of layers in, it will stop and Repetier will throw up errors in another language. I’ve had this happen with different STL files and Gcode created by different slicing programs. I’ve attached a photo of the errors.

haha Italians are taking over Repetier! If it helps, this is what the software is trying to say: ‘serial error Line Number is not Last Line Number+1’. It seems to be caused by a loose USB connection, you can read more about it here, but you’ll need Google Translate for it: problema !!!!: serial error Line Number is not Last Line Number+1. Good luck!

Thanks for the translation Gabriela3d. I guess I’ll swap out my USB cable and keep an eye on the connection.

Sounds like a great start  Good luck!

So, further problems :frowning:

I swapped out the laptop it was connected to, and still had this USB error.

I swapped out the USB cable, and still had this USB error.

So, figuring it could only be the Arduino Mega board, I swapped that out for a new one. I flashed Marlin onto it, but when I connected it back up, the Z axis wouldn’t respond and the fan and heated bed controls were reversed (turning on bed made the fan come on instead, etc.) other than that, it worked.

Then I tried flashing the Repetier V.92 firmware, however I don’t know what to use as the configuration settings to get it to work.

Can an someone please help?
