I recently got a CTC printer and want to remove the nozzle to replace them. I know with my Up Mini you have to heat the nozzle before removing it. Is this the same as the CTC or can you remove it while cold? I can’t find any information about it anywhere.
Also is there a trick in removing it as the extruder block seems to move in the direction you are unscrewing the nozzle?
Cheers,
Stefan.

Hot is good. Use pliers or a proper sized wrench to keep the heater block from moving, the wires are very fragile and will break easily!
There is plenty of info on google and YouTube.
You need to have the block at operating temperature when removing and installing the nozzle and the heat break. Find a pair of channel lock pliers with which to hold the block, and a 7mm wrench for the nozzle. When assembling, insert the nozzle first, as far as it can go, then the heat break.
