Hi all,

I am pretty new to the 3D printing scene so pardon my ignorance. I have searched high and low and cannot seem to find an answer to the following question. I have recently printed a piece for my son that was a little to big for my printer so I had to break it into parts and glue them together.

I have tried like hell to get rid of the ugly seams that this creates. I have tried XTC-3D resin. Sanding (obviously) and different types of fillers. I am just not sure what else to try. I understand that they may not disappear completely. I go by the rule of if you can feel it you will see it once its painted. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also I am printing in PLA.

If you post a photo of your project, I believe you would get some responses.

Sometimes you need to design joints that will allow you to glue without creating problems.
