I have been 3D printing for about 3 years and I was intrested in getting into the 3D scanning world. I started with a Kinect, but I was dismayed because I could not 3D scan full size people accurately. However, lots of scanners on the market are quite expensive and the ones that are cheap seem to be crappy. I am looking at the 3D systems sense scanner right now (although I have used their consumer 3D printers and know they suck and come with bad software I don’t know if the scanners are the same way).
If anyone has any recommendations I would greatly appreciate it,
