i have a 23 year old motor home with 2 rear bumper sections about 2 feet wide and long and about I foot deep. They are damaged. I could possibly fibreglass over. I don’t have the knowledge or skill to scan them. I live in Bristol, UK.

Could they be scanned and new ones printed? Who by? When? How much?

i would like to talk to someone who can help. My number is 07802466612

Could they be scanned? Yes I’m sure they could.

Could they be printed? Probably but the cost to scan and print would likely be around 10 times the cost of buying new ones. Have you look in a scrap yard if new isn’t an option?

Agreed, 3d printing something of this size, not to mention scanning, would be a huge cost relative to hopefully finding something on the secondary market used. If this is a one off and you have no hope of finding something that can be used as a replacement, finding a welder/fabricator would most likely be a better and more cost effective solution. Just my .02, but if you are set with wanting to use 3d scanning and 3d printing, it can definitely be used with the right equipment.
