How can i get my mm to the good value in inventor .
the scale of the mm isnt right.
Instead of 360 mm it shows that its 36 mm
how can i fix this ?
I have also noticed that Inventor has a tendency to do this, this isn’t usually a problem since the model can be scaled very easily when printing.
I believe it has to do with Inventor exporting the model in cm rather than mm, so later when whatever program you are using reads the .stl model, it ends up exactly 10x smaller.
The keyword there is EXACTLY. Remembering to scale the model 10x when printing solves the issue.
If you really want your model to be to scale you can simple scale the entire model 10x in inventor using the “scale tool.”
