Hello, I recently decided to purchase a Qidi X-Smart printer along with simplify 3d. So far I have had it for about a week and a half and have printed almost nothing but failed prints. All of my prints come out incredibly stringy and lackluster no matter how high I set the retraction distance, Retraction speed, XYZ speed or lower the temperature. On top of that, a lot of my prints look like they are under extruding despite increasing the multiplier and measuring the filament. Currently my printer has been printing at 160c as anything higher causes it to string up even worse. This seems like a very low temperature to me, however any higher really ruins the quality even with the cooling fans on and another fan pointed at the printer’s side window.

If anybody has experience with this printer or knows what I can do to make this better, I would truly appreciate the assistance. I will provide you with any information I can about my settings or anything else. This is my 3rd printer, the other two I had nothing but problems with, and this 3rd seems to be no exception. I believe at this point it is something I am doing wrong and not the printer itself. I am using Hatchbox Gray 1.75mm filament, and I am also using the included Qidi Tech Red 1.75mm. The images are recent prints. The previous prints were not even this bad, but they were close. I am currently using the Qidi Tech X-one profile as there is no X-smart profile yet, but I have tried using other ones with no luck yet. Please advise…
