I used to repetier with printrbot, I am now trying to config. printrun for a Prusa i3 reprap. The thermistor was not giving me any problem. I extruded by pressure, (something is wrong with the stepper motor extruder software (it’s not mechanical or electrical(?), but I will wait till everything else (end stops and thermistors are working), until trying fixing that.

I was having some function stoping with the end switches. the end switches are wired correctly, (best of my knowledge?), but when I hold the x stop, the motor keeps advancing.

simple problem now is the max temp is triggered, thermistor reads ~454 for both hot bed and extruder on printrun. advice por-foavor.

Image of printrun error (pronterface)?)

Did you select the correct thermistor in your firmware? If there would be any (undetectable) disconnection on the thermistor that might be the problems cause. Otherwise the wires may have broken partially which means less conductivity. Less conductive cables mean a higher resistance and as the board is using the resistance to calculate the temperature that might also be a possible reason.

Is that a true false switch in marlin firmware?

It’s unlikely the wires broke, because both thermistors for the heat bed and extruder are telling max temp.

I have the EXACT same issue…How do you fix??
