Hi, Just bought my first 3D printer (Prusa i3 Mk2s kit) about an hour ago so need to get prepping.

I intend to put it in my loft which isn’t the cleanest of spaces so I’m look to build a case. Can anyone give me some dimensions so I can make the available shelf/table for the enclosure/printer to sit on. If you have already got one with the multi-material upgrade, that would be great as I can accommodate possible future upgrades within the case size. If nothing else any advice on this particular task would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Can’t measure mine right now but I would say at least 20" squared without the MM upgrade.

I would go with at least 22" for the depth (front to back) unless you plan to relocate the screen. When the bed is in its furthest back position, the bed wiring will press up against the rear of a 20" square box. I went with a 23" box and that’s just enough for no interference.
