Okay I’m going to try this again since I can;t find my old thread anymore:
Recently i Bought a Kossel mini delta printer by flsun a Chinese producer.
The build went quite okay, now the hairy part: Calibration…
I had no idea what I was doing until somebody pointed a few things out to me in the previous thread, which I cannot link to, because I can;t find it on here anymore, for whatever onbscure reason…
Now long story short;
At first the printer could be recongnised by the computer and by the Repetier software supplied, however whenever I entered the G28 command, nothing happened and the commands stacked in the repetier software, as if the software and the printer werent able to communicate…
Then after some searching and reading the Chinglese manual that came with the printer; it stated I had to flash the Marlin firmware to the arduino Mega…
I tried this, but when I tried to compile the firmware I got an error,
Not knowing how to fix the error I downloaded the latest version of Marlin.
However, after flashing this firmware version to the printer the machine doesn’t do anything anymore…
My LCD screen just goes blank… following the manual actually made things worse… the complete opposite of what should have happened.
Is there any way of fixing this? and if so how?
Are there any good and clear guides on getting this thing set up… I’m a complete novice. I figured this would be a plug and play affair *needlescratch* *freezeframe* little did he know, life ain’t that sweet.
Please help… I’m getting really frustrated and thinking of just scrapping the entire thing all together and buying a proper printer.
