Check, if the thermistor (temperature sensor) is connected and wired properly, you might need to replace that. Type M999 in the command line once you’re sure, that the temperature sensor is connected. The screen should report a temperature, that is not zero.

I agree, probably the thermistor connection.

I solved this issue, which popped up quite often on my printrbot simple wood, by simply removing the connector from the temp sensor lines and soldering the wires together permanently. Otherwise like MB3D said replace the thermistor.

Thank you, I fixed the thermistor, and now the heating element broke. So I ordered a new extruder. Thankso for replies.
