Hi

I want to try to print to the Max volume size, 150 x 150 x150mm. Is this possible? The slicer I’m using is Slic3r. Tried to use cura, but, keep overshoot on the x-axis. With slic3r about 40% into the print it also start to overshoot on the x-axis. Any suggestions?

Sounds like either your print bed is not set to the correct size, or your offsets, or maybe even the steppers have the wrong voltage if it starts to mess up 40% into the print. Can you get a print out of a terminal command from your printer, e.g. in Octoprint or Pronterface? M501 command should give you a big print out of settings…

Hi, the last week I print 9 tiles of 15x15 on my printrbot. I use cura for the slicing, you just need to remove the lines shim. And Olso I have some trouble with the wrapping so I use the raft setting. For the raft, I change a little bit the setting to reduce the margin of the raft.

Maybe be you don’t notice but the effective build volume of the printrbot is something like 15,4x15,2x15 so you have a micro margin for shim or raft

The problem is the position of the bed leveling probe vs the print nozzle. Read more here https://printrbot.dozuki.com/Answers/View/11360/X+and+Y+overshoot+after+bed+leveling

Thanks for the feedback. I’m using Octoprint on a Raspberry PI. I’ll get Gcode info usinf the M501 command.

What is the lines shim>

Maybe try adjusting it a bit, or pausing it to see what you can fix.

I think he meant brim

I would say Line Skirt. Sorry for that.
