Hi everyone, I’m trying to print some parts with primafilaments Petg but the extruder clogs every time. Do you know what are the right parameters I have to use with the makerbot slicer?

Thanks a lot

I’m not familiar with primafiliments PetG as I use PetG from microcenter, however, if it’s cloging nozzles I’d say you need to turn up the tempature. Every other setting for abs will work fine with PetG.

I needed to make a custom profile for the Hatchbox PETG… key params are 55mm/s, 245C temp, decreased fan.

Temps over 240C are not recommended unless you upgrade to a metal carriage.

Print slow with PETG. I do about 2400mm/min base speed. Temp 240. Fan is optional, no fan better layer bonding, with fan you may see a better surface finish.
Do some googling, there are some good articles on printing with PETG.

I also use the microcenter PET-G, 240-245 C, all other parameters are normal Replicator settings for speed etc. increasing the temp will give you a more translucent look to the finished part. The toughest thing is to get the first layer to stick. I use this for my replicator 2 with makerware
