Hi, what adhesive should I use on my non-heated printing bed so the first layer of my projects doesn’t warp?

Hi there,
For an unheated bed I’d recommend either blue painter’s tape, standard PVA glue stick, or if neither works independently I’ve had good luck with blue tape + glue stick on top, but you may never get the tape off the bottom of the print without soaking it in water.
Good luck!

Depends what you are trying to stick. For smaller pla objects I have used (for 4 years) diluted pva wood glue. Dilute about 10% with water, brush on, dry naturally or with hair dryer. For tricky prints I presume warm the glass with a hair dryer
For xt I use painters tape. For nylon the pva mostly works.
I have heard of a wood glue and water mix, personally glue stick works well for me and is the same stuff so if you want to save time just go with glue stick. Masking tape or painters tape also works well. You don’t need blue stuff but it comes of the print bed easier later. I have heard PEI is also a good surface.
ps. If you want to reduce the hassle of adhesives just get a heated bed. Print straight on aluminium straight, reliable, no warp and easy.
