I’m hosting a non-profit event on art & 3D printing this April 8 at the Downtown Seattle Public Library main auditorium.

We need someone to host a printer for a one-shot live demo during the event.

We’ve asked around many places with little luck. I’m not making any money, if anything, losing it just trying to post around & gather a crowd for the event.

I have several 3-4 inch tall models print ready, YodaGandhi in the attachment is one, tested many times via Shapeways.

I can re-size or format for any spec’s, DXF, STL, whatever’s necessary. My models live now on Shapeways are STL.

I’ve also formatted my models as DXF on an SD card as I understand this is protocol for many Makerbots.

Any printed material is fine. We won’t be picky. Just having the printer run live while I’m talking & showing slides is the key.

The event is about an hour, can run 1.5 hrs. If a printer is brought down about an hour early, maybe a 3-4 inch print could finish in about 2 hours?

The event is 7-8pm Wednesday April 8, 2015

Of course we would take every opportunity to publicly thank & promote your work at the event. The capacity for the auditorium is over 300. We’re really trying hard to get some good publicity and fill the place. Hopefully it would turn out to be a solid format to highlight your printer and the work you do.

Thank you sincerely for your time reading this.
