I have a monoprice select mini and all of a sudden mid print the printers filament got stuck and I thought nothing of it. I removed the filament and cleaned the head and when I go to print something next from home position the head lifts off the bed and goes into the top right corner and makes extremely loud obnoxious noises as it is stuck! I tried other models and the same thing happens! Can someone help me with this?

What happens when you go into the menu and hit home all axis in the control panel?
Mine used to do the same thing. Turn it off and back on, it’ll reset itself.

Ah, the ol onoff gimmick!
I am assuming you power cycled the printer since you unclogged the hot end and tried to print again.
it same happened to me I found that if you take off the fan these a with small tube thing that the plastic and melted and twisted and then jamemed the plastic from going in or out

You could try updating and/or resetting the firmware on the printer. They keep an the files and documentation in a Google drive. It’s easy to find with a quick Google search Edit: here is a link to their website the goes through how to do this: http://mpselectmini.com
I have a Mini too. A power-cycle is a good idea between print jobs, and seems to be required if a print is canceled.
When I hit home it goes back perfectly fine

Make sure you have the right profile (size) selected on your slicing software if you have multiple machines (or something possibly changed)
and say one is 200x200 and you slice on that, the middle will be off the plate of the mini and it will act in this way.
