I’m an orthodontist looking for a network of printers which can create ABS models accurate to 100 microns in the Z axis. Does something like that even exist? Anyone out there interested in creating one? Our group is looking to have several hundred produced per month.

A lulzbot mini can do 50microns and has a 6x6x6 platform. Super reliable and easy to use. With ABS though depending on the model size you may need an enclosure.
If you send me an enquiry at https://www.3dhubs.com/milwaukee/hubs/kirby I can talk to you more about my experience or help out. Rather not give out my email in here but if you send an enquiry I will

Sure thing, I can help with some of it. I only have one printer, but I reckon I could slap multiple models on the build plate. What exactly are you printing anyway?
We can definately assist you to meet this requirement. We currently have 5 Lulzbot Taz 5 & 6 3D printers using all ABS colors . We can offer bulk discounts for production runs. Please feel free to reach out to me directly for a quote or some sample prints. We are situated in Canada which may interest you due to the current exchange rate.
Im a bit confused on the question, are you looking to have your own printers or have someone that can meet your capacity and order from? Also what is the approximate size of the designs that will need to be printed and what is the end use of them?
Is this also long term printing of that quantity or just a few months?

Hi, I don’t have my hub completely set up yet but am not all that far away form your location (in Tulsa). I wouldn’t be able to meet the quantity especially at this time but would be interested to see if we can meet the specs. If you are interested I would be in seeing what you need and what it may take to produce it.
Hi, definitely we can make that for you, printing with the objet we can get 25 microns, in viro clear which is a very reliance material, If you need to print that quantity per month we can make an inyection mold and make the outcomes in ABS. I look forward hearing from you
I can do this. Feel free to contact me via https://www.3dhubs.com/cleveland/hubs/perry by creating an enquiry.
I am not local to you, but I have done over 100 prints with perfect reviews for all! I am very conscientous and take every print very seriously.
I use Flashforge Creator Pros in my printer farm, and can do 100 microns in the z axis with no sweat.

Hi DC,
I have an Objet 30 Prime that can print MED610 material that is biocompatible. Other less expensive materials are suitable if they don’t come in contact with mucosal membrane or for long periods of time with skin.
Check out this link for more details on the MED610 material from Stratasys : Biocompatible 3D Printing Materials | Stratasys
I did not add this material yet to my Hub but it’s not a problem if your interested.
Print resolutions at 28 or 16 microns (real) per layer at great prices with the advantage of the exchange between the canadian and US dollars. Print size max at 11.57" x 7.55" x 5.85" in one single build but bigger parts can be done in multiple sections glued precisely together.
Check out my hub and verify prices for 4 different materials already available. Here are the links to the technical data on those materials as well as for the MED610 :
Med610 : Industrial 3D Printing & Additive Manufacturing
Rigur : Industrial 3D Printing & Additive Manufacturing
Vero Clear : Industrial 3D Printing & Additive Manufacturing
Vero Blue : Industrial 3D Printing & Additive Manufacturing
Tango Grey : Industrial 3D Printing & Additive Manufacturing
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Pierre
