hi all, sorry if this question has been covered before but, i have a tevo black widow which is set up and running, my test print was ok, i think the bed was a little cold at 70 deg c, i was able to separate it in the middle during my destruction test afterwards. but my main question is:- during the print with my laptop attached it ran fine, after the laptop was removed and it ran the same print using an SD card it didn’t print the same. the print head kept running to the board edge.

why is that? it also stopped running due to a heat error. (running at 110deg c from SD card)

sorry forgot to say, ABS filament

What version of Marlin are you using? And what slicer?

what is marlin? lol

i have used pronterface, ‘print run’ program to set the parameters and cura 15.04.6 slicer.

Marlin is the firmware that your printer printer uses. It could be a problem with your firmware. Have you tried contacting customer support?

no i haven’t. i followed the video that is posted on whotube but it doesn’t go into much detail about the firmware side of things. i printed a test cube i drew up on rhino and that worked ok while the laptop was connected but if i run it with the sd card it runs differently. i took as short video so i shall upload that so you can see.
