Hi I am having major issues with print quality, prints have very rough edges in place. can any please help?

Hey 3DPrintServ,

It may be a clogged nozzle, overheating or overextending that is causing this problem.

If you don’t already clean you’d nozzle regularly then I’d suggest you did so and do it rather frequently. Printing quality deteriorates overtime if the are clogs or partial clogs in the nozzle.

It may also be over extrusion which occurs when too much filament is forced out of the nozzle. You can illiminate this from the list if you haven’t recently changed feed rate and previous prints have been of a high quality.

Finally it could be the result of overheating. It may be caused by manually changing settings, a change in fikament (with different melting points) or loose wires/ faulty thermistor.

Hopefully if you check these factors you’ll be able to find the correct fault.

What type of filament were you using to print this? To me it looks like your filament is “wet” (absorbed moisture from the air) and that causes print issues similar to what you have.
