See attached picture. My Hictop printer has been printing great without issue, but recently started doing this. This is a 10x10x20mm test column. As you can see it is not smooth. Any ideas on what is causing this?
Would need more info but the first thing I see is that this is symmetrical. This is most likely a hardware related issue. Things to think on. What has changed recently? Did this model print ok before?

Yes, it is symmetrical. The printer started printing this way all of a sudden on everything I print. Nothing has been changed.
That really is strange in that it has such nice repetition. What about your slicer? Any change that could munge the walls or something? Weird!
It is most likely a mechanical issue. Maybe if something changed in the slicer like to a different printer profile but I don’t think so.
I would look at the Z lead screws to see if anything acts bent or is binding. Also look for loose drive pulleys or belts.
