That I have never seen. I would do a search to see if there is anyway to modify the starting gcode for maker ware. Sorry I can’t help you here.

The makerbot website shows what the parameters mean. It’s not perfect but it helps. There is no clear cut way, you’re gonna have to fiddle with it and tune it for the printer and material. One of the main things that helps is the extrusion multiplier. Find in thingiverse the nozzle calibration for ctc and that tells you how calibrate it in proftweak.

Same problem here, i now use Makerware and Astroprint to control the printer and no longer have any issues and don’t have to bother with usb cable or sd cards, you would need a Raspberry Pi 2 or 3 though for Astroprint.
