hi guys, apologies if this has been posted before but I can’t find anything. I have a ctc mk8. No mods yet. From day one I get flaps on some edges when printing. When printing a cube it was the corners. I used to use simply 3D but have now started using makerware as couldn’t get on with all the settings on simplify. I have taken a video of the print as have just noticed the build platform appears to be flexing. Can anyone help? I have a wasp delta at work and was looking forward to printing at home albeit on a much smaller budget!

What material, temps etc would be useful.

Pla by polymaker. Nozzle temp 210 degrees. Bed temp read out showing 40.

May be a little hot on the extruder. I use another material that will start curling if extruded to hot.

Also check cooling. If you do have the fan going try adding another and see if it helps. Just a thought.

Ok great thanks I’ll try that later and let you know how I get on.

Your cooling fan needs to be spinning faster. Also you might be overextruding a bit, but I’d start with really bumping up the cooling fan settings.

Thanks Ben I’ll give that a try also.

Didn’t have time last night but will try both suggestions tonight.
