I know 3D hubs is going through updates lately but has anyone else noticed they are getting a lot less money for the orders at the minute even though I haven’t changed my costings? Does this mean 3D hubs is charging more in service charges?
Hi Ben, thanks for reaching out. Indeed there have been quite a few changes on the platform lately, one of them being that starting from July all prices on the platform include our fee, from the start. However this actually resulted in a more reduced 3D Hubs fee, which is now 12.5% of the amount the customer pays. Basically, we learned that adding the 3D Hubs service fee on top of your Hub price at the checkout was quite confusing for customers and resulted in fewer orders for our Hubs. I believe there was an update from Filemon via email few months back.
I’m not sure what exactly is causing earning ‘a lot less’ than before, so if ok with you, @Robin3D will be in contact with you to clear things out. Cheers

Jep, indeed our fee was reduced recently. I’ve checked and “average order value” did not drop significantly. So, based on the information I have here it seems to be ‘coincidence’ that your order values have dropped. Please keep me posted if something changes, I would be curious to know. Cheers, Filemon
