So did the calculations change? or get botched up on the Layer heights costs for Printers?

I was reading the thread about adding “whatever color available” as an option to drive customers to order this option as a way to use up small amounts of left over materials and lower the price for the customer for doing so… So I was like “alright Ill do that!”

I opened up one of my printers… Added another “PLA” category… Added the color “whatever”… added layer height (does not matter at this point on for example reasons) that matched my other layer options for my normal PLA colors… when to play with pricing and noticed it HEAVILY discounted… I was like “ok that does not look right…” then I put the -exact- same prices and options as my existing PLA category (first print charge, minimum order value, slice volume charge, etc, etc, etc) everything identical… and this new category was almost 1/2 the price of the existing one when pop down “Preview Pricing”

What?!

@Filemon @ferkan - Can anyone weigh in on this one??

A few things are looking screwy now…

First look at these 2 screen shots… they don’t make sense to me…

One has bulk discount not checked… lists the Small Marvin as $6.54 (Customer pays)
One has bulk discount checked… lists the Small Marvin as $9.31 (Customer pays)

Mind you… I did zero changes to anything except check that check box… and it changed all the prices.
At first I was looking at this and getting upset because I thought It was discounting the price… but actually… its increasing it… but in either case the Small Marvin is way under the $25 minimum for a 15% discount so why is it even doing anything at all on the prices (let alone raising it…)

Hmmm that seems strange to me indeed. Let me check with our devs. I’ll get back to this asap

Ok, so here’s it is. “There’s an issue with the price preview when the bulk discount is configured, it’s already fixed and will be deployed today”. In short, the preview was broken. Not the actual pricing itself. Hope that solves it. cheers, Filemon
