Thanks for responding everyone. I’ve emailed the director of the hospital where the majority of trauma patients are being treated. I’ve also emailed the intensive care specialist I’m working with on a similar study. Hopefully they will contact one another and notify us should they need our assistance. The CT derived printed model was used to help asses which ribs might be repaired and to pre-bend rib fixation plates used in surgery. It is anticipated that this method will reduce surgery times and potential complications as a result of efficiency increases in preoperative planning.
