I am a mixed media artist and I would like to start a new project . I have some questions.
First of all ,I do portraits and i would like to create a 3D canvas of an interesting material that can allow me to print a digital Painting on top of it and then paint with colors on it ! My canvas would be very simple , a rectangle with dimension 50x70 cm or 70x100 cm.
So my concern is , can i print a simple rectangle canvas in 3D and print a 2D digital painting on it? Is that possible? If yes , what are the materials that can possibly work with this and then allow me to paint with acrylic colors?

Hi, I don´t get it… how do you want to 2D Print something on a 3D object?? I don´t know any 2D printer wich can do this…
Hmm, I know plenty of people airbrush their models, so painting with acrylic should be feasible. If by ‘print a 2d digital painting’ you meant to paint it then yes! Here’s an instructable that may help
