Hello, i saw a video and it really intrigued me. the person was printing a hollow cube. the thing is, how do you manage to print filament in the air? the dimensions of the cube were 20mm by 20mm by 20mm. In the video, the extrude prints a “rigid” kind of filament in the air to create the top layer of the cube. I find this incredible and i would like to know what are the printer settings to accomplish this kind of print.

im using repeater host software.

This is simply known as “bridging” the extruder will anchor one end of the filament and drag it across the open space. Settings to play with are cooling ,bridge extrusion flow, and speed.

i suggest you simply attempt it at your currently working settings and adjust from there

Having a good cooling fan at blowing air near the nozzle helps cool the plastic fast before it begins to droop.
