Hey I got my first client. I was wondering when they are suppose to pay? Is it before I start printing? I also was trying to help him with his model since it wasn’t print ready. The obj was created through sketchup and cura saw it only as dots.
I spent roughly 6 hours trying various tools to heal and export but I couldn’t get it to print. Any tips are appreciated.

Have you tried the expert menu in Cura ?
go to the bottom right, en play with the settings “combine everything a-b”

3D Hubs order flow
Order Comes in.
You talk about order & Accept / Decline (adjust charges as needed or agreed, maybe in this case charges for your time and fixing the model.)
Customer Pays (Money sent to 3D Hubs.com)
3D Hubs releases order status to Printing
You print order then set status to completed.
Confirm shipment of order
Customer confirms receipt of order
3D Hubs waits 12-48hrs and sends you payment

congrats on your first order, you will receive an email from the 3dhubs team after the client has paid, depending the order I sometimes start printing before I get this email but you should wait till the client accepts your quote and pays before you start printing
