Caution,
I’m a beginner. I am trying to understand what causes this leaning effect especially since it’s only happened to me 2 times in two dozen prints or so. If the belts or pulleys were loose/slipping would it not happen every time?
For example this part shown in the attached picture which is a filament guide from thngiverse. On this one it’s not even the entire model leaning, just the wider area, the bottom and the top seem straight to me.
Thanks for your thoughts.

Sorry picture is upside down, and apparently I cannot edit this post before being accepted by the moderator.
What printer, slicer, material, temps and speeds? My first thought is mechanical. Something is not aligned or calibrated right.
Creatr dual; simplfy3D, PLA, 195F, 3000mm/min. In the picture you can see the model leaning left on the X axis, as if the x coordinates crept to the left by a tiny amount with every new layer; what is not visible is that the same effect happened in the Y axis, which is something I noticed later, I attached a picture from that angle. thanks for looking.
What profile did you select in S3D creator dual 1 or 2 or something else?
Try dropping the speed way down and see if it makes any difference.
I use a profile derived from the creator dual with a few changes like heating the bed for the first layer and then turning off the heat; and a tiny bit higher first layer than the default (120%).
I lowered the speed by 1/3, that probably doesn’t qualify for ‘way down’ but I got exactly the same result, not even a bit different, if I didn’t mark the models I would not know which one was printed slower.
I figured I’d go back to square 1: I leveled the bed (a terrible experience on the creatr) and printed the 20mm cube. It came out very nice, perfectly straight and square, correct dimensions. So I gave the filament guide model another try and I got again the same result. Somehow this model seems to trigger my issue.
If the cube is spot on then two things (use the cubes settings). Is the cube tall enough to tell if it is starting to lean? Maybe try a much taller cube.
Also how does the filament guide look in the preview? See anything obvious?
Reason I asked about the profile is I think there are two creator profiles, creator 1 dual and creator 2 dual. I think the step settings are different for them which could cause your issue.
Also post or send me the model and I can try it to see how it does if you want.
Also, I just thought, try rotating the part 45 degrees clockwise or counter-clockwise and see how it goes. Sometimes the slicer just needs a nudge.
The cube is as tall as the area of the guide that is leaning. Because, not the entire model is, the narrow area at the top of the model prints straight (albeit, simplify3d reduces the speed a lot in that part of the model). Here it is:

I’ll see if I can give it a try.
I didn’t catch if you are using the profile for a creator dual 1 or creator dual 2.
I’ve been pulled away from 3D printing for over a month…
Creatr dual (2 extruders).
Today I printed a spur gear, the toothed area is leaning, the hub (which extends on one side as to allow room for a set screw) printed perfectly vertical. I opened the gear in Slic3r and it printed straight. I used the same settings, as far as I was able to map them between simplify3d and slic3r.
