Thanks for the advice guys. My version does not have the S after the 2 when I start up. I want to control the speed on the fly. Wondering why it did not install. I did not install the firmware w ATmega if that is an issue. Did not know what that was. My Rep2 is 3 years and 3 months old. My info reading says ATmega 1280 so it might be what I have. 
Ah, had to play with it. I can change the speed and nozzle temp with this version. Sailfish is updated every so often btw. This is sooooo much better.
