I’ve had my monoprice maker select printer for a few months now and have had some minor clogs that I’ve been able to fix, this time is different though. I’ve tried everything from heating it up to using small drill bits that fit inside the nozzle, but nothing is working. Does anyone have any ideas to what I can do to fix it?

Sounds like you might have to do some surgery on it. You could try doing a cold pull and see if that loosens the clog, but that’ll only work if the clog is able to be heated. It sounds like you have a clog in the cool zone of your hot end; Monoprice doesn’t use an all metal hot end so there are thermal breaks between the nozzle and the hearing element that allow the filament to cool. If this is the case, you’re going to have take it apart and dig out the clog. Look on YouTube or ask on r/3dprinting on Reddit for help, there’s a decent amount of select owners there. We all deal with really annoying clogs every now and then; it took me hours to unclog my spiderbot last time this happened.
The same thing is happening to me. I’ve had my printer for a few months as well and I’ve had a few clogs but have been able to unjam them and all is well. Now, however, I have a problem; the plastic is completely stuck in the extruder. Now, I took the fan off and unscrewed the little blue cap and discovered that there is a piece of plastic that is stuck. I tried pulling on it with needle nose pliers with all my strength but it is STUCK. The Hatchbox PLA is rated at 180-200 celsius. I jacked the temperature up to 325 celsius and it is still completely stuck- it didn’t budge up or down! I know the extruder gets hot correctly because I touched a piece of plastic to it and that melted. I have no idea what to do now…
