Hey guys,

I’ve been on 3dHubs for quite a while but I still haven’t received any order apart from family.

I’ve advertised my hub on every social media I have and also spoke to different people about this. But no luck. I’m on the 4th page in my country with around 1700 views. Can someone help me?

Hey maxmoors,

I’ve just been looking at you hub and your pricing is pretty competitive. There are a few things though which may result in your lack of sales. In your area there is a lot of competition. Your images are good but I’d suggest having a few different types of prints. Currently you have only small figures or character which limits you customers to similar pieces. You should print a few functional parts and large detailed objects. This way you’ll be displayed as a hub that’s capable of a lot more.

You also want to have good reviews so that people recognise you as being a good hub. If your advertising your hub offer a reduction in the price for first time users. This will increase reviews and may generate repeat customers. Repeat customers are important here.

Hope this helps you out with your hub sales and orders.

Hey @mx20100,

In case you haven’t seen this yet, I’d like to suggest taking a look at this thread Talk Manufacturing | Hubs

There might be a few tips & tricks you haven’t tried out yet. I hope it helps and good luck!

Cheers,

Asad

+1 Definitely throw up some pictures of bigger prints. All those pictures are basically the same. Go print something impressive. Maybe do one of those owls, or the aria dragon?

cool wing section, very nice when transparent: Wing part, RC Spitfire by stephencz - Thingiverse

the dragon: Aria the Dragon by loubie - Thingiverse

Owl: Owl statue by cushwa - Thingiverse

So you say the only prints you have are from family, and they did not give you all five stars, man, that is rough.

You need a few more family or friend prints. Even if they are small. Get perfect reviews, so the reviews that show up in search as five stars.

You need to change your imagery. So your banner should show prints, not your computer.

Make sure your “completeness” check is 100%.

YOU DEFINITELY NEED TO OFFER MORE COLORS. If people are finding you, they are not ordering because they cannot select a color they like. (You only have 3 colors) So unless they want the model in one of those 3 colors, they are going to move on to another hub.

Set your delivery out an extra day, offer more colors, and be prepared to drive and get filament for a color they have selected, to do the order. (I can get overnight from Amazon here, so I can do that)

OR pick the most common colors and add to your stable: Black, Blue, Red, White, Green.

OR at least add an ASK color.

Keep your pricing low until you get orders. You need to buy some business.

Your location is very populated with printers, so you have to work it, to get up on the list by location, but if people search by your “postal code” (what we US call zip code) they should see you, but need to be able to order in a color they want.

Hey Perry_1

yea… I only have one real review, the other one that is not 5 stars it is from the 3dhubs staff…

I might get more colors but first I have to receive my salary from my real job. As it is the first month working for me…

I have colorfabb next to my work, so I guess if they allow me to pickup the filament, than that is what I’m going to do.

Thank you for the advice @Perry_1
