I’m very new to the 3D printing world, and have an issue I’m hoping you might be able to help with.
I’ve made quite a few models now, using XYZ Maker to create and XYZ Ware to print.
With all my models except one, a ‘test’ print happens before the actual model starts to print, where a couple of thin strands are printed over on the right of the printer bed. Once this is printed, the head moves away and starts to print the model itself. I presume this is to get the plastic (in my case, ABS) flowing nicely?
This ‘test’ bit just appears when I load it into XYZ Ware - there’s nothing in the original model design apart from the model.
I do have one model that this test doesn’t appear for, and it’s messing up the print. The start point is always a bit out of shape.
Can anyone tell me why the test print is not there and/or how to make it appear?
