Maybe your marketing? But after this post from you everybody knows you

meaning?

it is not easy to get orders. you need to draw the attention of your target audience.

@husky8888

Have you checked out this talk about conducting your 3D printing business using 3D Hubs or the /How To Hub tag.

These two suggestions should also give you more clarity about what @3droboprint is mentioning.

Good Luck

Hey there Kody,

There seem to be quite a number of hubs in Brisbane, considering the size of the city, so it looks quite a competitive market. Your prints look good and I know you’ll have good quality with the Up! My advice, such as it is. Give your hub something that makes it stand out. Let’s see some more pics of challenging and interesting stuff you’ve printed. Don’t be afraid to promote yourself elsewhere and direct traffic towards your hub, whether that’s advertising in the local paper or tweeting like crazy every time you print something. Finally, maybe you need to be just a little more patient. there may be plenty of supply in Brisbane but maybe the city hasn’t yet woken up to 3D printing as a solution to problems. Maybe you can help there and just get out there and tell Brisneyland all about it! :slight_smile:

Cheers!

thanks for your info i have recently asked for a new city to be opened on the site as i am from the lower gold coast region but still am awaiting this request to take place

Yup, well, I think I waited about 6 months for London to open up from the time I set up and started nagging 3DHubs. Now we’re the 3rd from top city. Just a thought but how’s about offering custom printed-fins for surfboards, or windmills for them dudes down in Byron?

Cheers!

Hey @husky8888, if you’re looking to step up your 3d printing game, you might want to consider organizing a show’n’tell event with us down in Brizzie. @Nikki, our Community Manager for Australia, can help you set this up. How about it?

sounds great
