Hello,
I got the bug and went out and got myself a CTC 3D Printer from Ebay. It arrived this week with some issues. I’ve emailed the company and is awaiting their response. The upper rod for the Y axis rubber belt was off, as I thought it was cut, but actually it was not clamped properly. When I attempted to remove the two boxes in the bottom, the whole assembly that holds the extruders came down as it was not fully snapped into the housing. I have NO IDEA how to snap it back in and don’t won’t to break it. Lastly, two of the bolts that hold the upper side rods in place are missing the nuts. I need help on how to connect the rubber belt and snap the extruder bearings back into it’s holder. I have provided pictures!!

First remove the spring clip (tensioner).
Then, the belt slides out of the y carrier. You will then be able to wrap it round the pulleys again and then slide the belt in.
I recommend you use paint or nail nail varnish to mark belt and carrier so you can get it back in to the same rib.
You need to make sure sure you have about the same tension top and bottom and that the x rods are square. Can becfiddly.
The bearings just clip in to the receptacles. Line them up and push in with your thumbs carefully and simultaneously so you don’t bend the rods. It may take quite a bit of force.
To put the spring clip back on the belt isn’t easy; there’s a knack that is hard to describe.
First get the carriage centres in Y, then the clip goes on in the middle of the belt on the top.
You have to insert the clip clip sideways first and get one half of the belt in place hencise pliers to straighten the clip an it and slide the other end of the belt in place.
