I really want to get a 3d printer however I am completely clueless as to which one I should get. I am on a budget of $600 or less. I am looking to make cosplay props and things of that sort. I am not looking for a big machine either. I am okay with making things in parts.
I have heard people say make sure you get one that has a heated bed/ you dont need a heated bed…make sure its enclosed because it will effect the way it prints/ open is fine you wont have any issues…and so on and so forth…its all just leaving me really confused
Any suggestions are certainly welcome!

Hi @Robyn_Schmit, you can have a look at our 2017 3D Printer Guide for printers that have been reviewed by owners and the community. Our 3D Printer Index is also a great tool for comparing printers by price and reviews. Good luck!
I would check out the QIDI X-one. It may be a good starting point for you. PLA is what it is mainly for since it is not completely enclosed but can easily be enclosed to move on to ABS.
It is a single extruder with heated bed. It is built like a tank.
I have one and it is a solid machine.
QIDI support is excellent also.
A little higher price is the QIDI Tech-1 which moves you to a dual extruder and fully enclosed chassis. this one is very similar to the Flashforge Creator Pro but less money.
Fell free to ask more questions if you want.
Check out Facebook group QIDI 3D, there are X-one users there.
