Since 3dhubs updated rendering engine (about 2 days ago) the of cm3 of the STL files for me its wrong, if you look at the attached file it appears to me (whether on NetFabb or Zortrax Z-Suite) be 10.46cm3, but in 3dhubs it is about 10% less. Any of you has a slicer that calculates cm3 identical to those calculated by 3dhubs ? it is my opinion however that there is something wrong with the new rendering engine …
1046.stl (2.23 MB)

That entirely depends on the setting you have in your slicer. As far as I know 3D Hubs uses 2 outside perimeters (0.8 mm) and 20% infill for thew calculations.

hello, i speek only about real volume, not SLICING volume  i setup my price based on real volume (not “sliced”)…

i try to upload the file on shapeway …same result = 10,4517 cm3 … so we are all wrong? I dont understand …

This is a misunderstanding that is common with 3dhubs. The volume of the model is always calculated at less than the actual model volume. 3dhubs automatically puts through a slice, guesses at the volume needed to print, and then calculates price from there.
